A 2009 graduate of Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, Wash... earned two varsity letters for coach George Monica... named Team Most Inspirational Player as a senior... considered Pepperdine, Santa Clara, University of Washington, Seattle University and University of Portland, but chose LMU because of the location and he has relatives that live close... also wrestled in high school...
