A 2011 graduate of Madison High School in San Diego, Calif... a four-year varsity letterwinner for Head Coach Robert Lovato... named team captain as a senior... named All-City and All-League in all four years of play... garnered All-CIF recognition as a sophomore... batted .280 with 25 runs scored, four triples and 12 RBI as a senior... hit .347 as a junior, scoring 33 runs and driving in 23 to accompany seven triples... recorded a .479 batting average as a sophomore, notching 49 runs scored and 27 RBI... hit a blistering .494 with 29 runs scored and 26 RBI as a freshman... left high school as the school record holder for triples in a season... also held the career triples record (26) for San Diego section... also competed in football and soccer in high school...
