2012... made 19 starts and appeared in 33 games for the Lions as a freshman... batted .269 with 11 runs scored, three doubles and 10 RBI... stole two bases in three attempts... posted a .295 batting average with six runs scored and five RBI against WCC foes... hit .273 against right-handed pitching... was a perfect 7-for-7 driving in a runner from third base with less than two out... notched six multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4 effort at Santa Clara on May 26... swiped his first base on February 19 vs. UNLV... first collegiate RBI on February 25 vs. Cal Poly... batted 2-for-5 with a run scored against Indiana on March 16... had a pair of hits against Long Beach State on April 17... went 2-for-4 with the game-winning RBI at Gonzaga on April 29... 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and career-best two RBI at UCR on May 9... had a pair of hits and two runs scored in two-of-three games at No. 18 San Diego...

A 2011 graduate of Madison High School in San Diego, Calif... a four-year varsity letterwinner for head coach Robert Lovato... named team captain as a senior... named All-City and All-League in all four years of play... garnered All-CIF recognition as a sophomore... batted .280 with 25 runs scored, four triples and 12 RBI as a senior... hit .347 as a junior, scoring 33 runs and driving in 23 to accompany seven triples... recorded a .479 batting average as a sophomore, notching 49 runs scored and 27 RBI... hit a blistering .494 with 29 runs scored and 26 RBI as a freshman... left high school as the school record holder for triples in a season... also held the career triples record (26) for San Diego section... also competed in football and soccer in high school...
