2010... the most called-upon option out of the Lion bullpen for the second consecutive year... appeared in 19 games, accumulating a 4-0 record and a 3.56 ERA... tossed 30.1 innings and struck out 22 batters en route to saving a team-high six games... six saves placed him tied for fifth in the LMU single-season record books, and fourth in the WCC... ERA was tops amongst teammates... placed tied for second on the team in appearances... posted a 2.70 ERA in five WCC appearances... notched a 1-0 record in conference games alone... recorded three saves while striking out nine batters over 10 innings of work against WCC foes... three saves ranked tied for third in WCC... season-high three innings pitched against Saint Mary's on May 1... punched-out a season-best four at Portland on April 17... allowed just one home run, surrendering one on February 20 versus UC Irvine... recorded victories over Minnesota, Long Beach State, Fresno State, and Saint Mary's... held opponents to a .216 average with two out in an inning... posted a 4.40 strikeout-to-walk ratio...

2009... was once again the go-to player out of the Lion bullpen as a sophomore... appeared in a team and WCC-high 28 games, all in relief... recorded two saves, placing 10th in the WCC... first career save came on March 22 versus Fresno State... finished the season with a 5-5 record and a 4.39 ERA in 41 innings of work... struck out 35 batters and walked 17 while holding opponents to a team-best .255 average against... ERA and wins total were second-best on team... in conference games alone, managed a 3-1 record with a 4.50 ERA in nine appearances and 14 innings on the hill... WCC hitters batted just .212 against the right-hander... nine appearances in WCC play ranked sixth in the conference, while his three conference victories placed seventh... recorded the victory over Utah in his first appearance of season... earned victories in back-to-back appearances against Santa Clara on March 29 and UCLA on April 1... tossed a career-high tying and season-best four innings at UCLA on April 1... punched-out a career-high four batters on two occasions, first against Fresno State on March 22, and then against the Bruins on April 1... held right-handed hitters to a .206 average against... hitters were just 9-for-51 (.176) when batting with two outs... held opponents to a .136 average with runners in scoring position and two-outs... posted a 1.39 WHIP, placing second on the staff...

2008... appeared in a team-high 24 games out of the bullpen as a freshman... finished the year with a 1-1 record and a 5.88 ERA... amassed 26 innings pitched and 21 strikeouts... posted first career victory against San Diego on March 9 after tossing 2.1 innings and allowing only one hit... longest outing of the year came at Cal on March 16 when he pitched four innings in relief... struck out three hitters against Cal on March 16 and Saint Mary's on April 11...

A 2007 graduate of Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, Calif... earned varsity letters in his junior and senior years for coach Andy Nieto... was a team captain his senior year while garnering All-League, All-CIF and All-Area recognition that same year... batted .378 with a slugging percentage of .610 and an on-base percentage of .433 as a senior... finished the season with a 10-0 pitching record and a 1.70 ERA en route to guiding his team to the CIF Division Five 2007 Championship... named Del Rey League Most Valuable Pitcher...
