2010... the most called-upon option out of the Lion bullpen for the second consecutive year... appeared in 19 games, accumulating a 4-0 record and a 3.56 ERA... tossed 30.1 innings and struck out 22 batters en route to saving a team-high six games... six saves placed him tied for fifth in the LMU single-season record books, and fourth in the WCC... ERA was tops amongst teammates... placed tied for second on the team in appearances... posted a 2.70 ERA in five WCC appearances... notched a 1-0 record in conference games alone... recorded three saves while striking out nine batters over 10 innings of work against WCC foes... three saves ranked tied for third in WCC... season-high three innings pitched against Saint Mary's on May 1... punched-out a season-best four at Portland on April 17... allowed just one home run, surrendering one on February 20 versus UC Irvine... recorded victories over Minnesota, Long Beach State, Fresno State, and Saint Mary's... held opponents to a .216 average with two out in an inning... posted a 4.40 strikeout-to-walk ratio...

A 2007 graduate of Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, Calif... earned varsity letters in his junior and senior years for coach Andy Nieto... was a team captain his senior year while garnering All-League, All-CIF and All-Area recognition that same year... batted .378 with a slugging percentage of .610 and an on-base percentage of .433 as a senior... finished the season with a 10-0 pitching record and a 1.70 ERA en route to guiding his team to the CIF Division Five 2007 Championship... named Del Rey League Most Valuable Pitcher...
