2013... appeared in 25 games, making one start, in his first season with the Lions... pitched to a 1-1 record with a 5.40 ERA and two saves over 35 innings of work... struck out 27 hitters... made his first career appearance on 2/15 vs. Utah, striking out four in two innings against the Utes... tossed 1.2 innings at #14 Oregon on 2/24... first career save on 3/9 at #26 Oklahoma State (0.1 IP, BB)... struck out two in 1.1 innings against Long Beach State (3/12)... tossed two perfect innings of relief at Pepperdine on 3/17... recorded second career save on 3/22 at Saint Mary's (0.1 IP, K)... earned first career victory at #5 Cal State Fullerton on 3/26 (2.0 IP, 3 H, R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 4 K)... four strikeouts matched a career high... two scoreless innings of relief at #17 UCLA on 4/14 (2.0 IP, H, BB, K)... ended the season with six straight scoreless innings, allowing only four hits and striking out five during that stretch...

2012... earned All-Foothill Conference honors... appeared in 14 games, including making 11 starts... pitched to a 5-3 record and a 1.38 ERA over 85 innings with two complete games and a save... struck out better than a hitter an inning, recording a team-best 88 (9.32 per game)...

2011... earned All-Foothill Conference honors... compiled a 3-1 record and a 2.57 ERA over 14 relief appearances... combined on one shutout while tossing 28 innings... recorded a pair of saves with 21 strikeouts... limited opponents to a .250 batting average against...

A 2010 graduate of AB Miller High School in Fontana, Calif... earned All-Conferene and All-League honors as a senior... served as team captain in each of his final two years... posted a 3.98 ERA over 58 innings with 66 strikeouts... hit .377 with three homers at the plate...

Carlos Roland Fuentes was born December 1, 1992 in Fontana, Calif... son of Evelyn and Carlos Fuentes... has two sisters, Monique and Danielle... elected to transfer to LMU over Long Island University, USC, UC Riverside and Long Beach State because he felt LMU was the best fit for him... a political science major.
