The nine WCC schools put a total of 1,093 student-athletes on the list from the 13 sports that the conference sponsors, which is another new conference record.
LMU took a one-run lead into the bottom of the seventh, but could not hold off the Broncos.
LMU will play a three-game West Coast Conference series at Santa Clara this weekend to finish the 2012 season.
LMU will host UC Riverside at 3 p.m. today.
LMU fell by a count of 9-6 and are mathematically eliminated from the Championship hunt.
