Briefly... Elvis Herrera is in his senior season with LMU... coaches are looking for his right-handed bat to come around, knowing that it could really help the predominately left-handed hitting Lions...

At LMU... 2006... made 22 appearances... posted seven hits on the season, three of which were doubles... hit safely in four straight games in February, including against San Jose State, where he went 2-for-2 with two doubles...2005... started 12 games and hit .286 with .333 on base percentage for the Lions... tallied three doubles and six RBI... went a perfect 4-for-4 with one RBI and four runs scored in win over Portland...2004... hit .300 in WCC play... had 11 hits and a .302 on-base percentage in 23 games played... picked up his first hit as a Lion on 2/15 against No. 11 Baylor...
