Lions Walk-Off with 12-11 Victory in Epic 13-Inning Marathon

Billy Lockin enters his fourth season with LMU baseball... has had three quality seasons with the Lions, but coaches have seen much growth in the last six months... coming off a great summer in the Cape Cod league, where he was named a East Division All-Star... his ground ball in the Cape League title game moved his teammate to third and a throwing error left Lockin at first, with both eventually scoring for the 5-4 win... ranked third in stolen bases (14) in the Cape League... expected to be one of the best shortstops in the region... selected to the 2004 preseason All-Conference team at shortstop and as the best baserunner in the WCC by Baseball America...
