Pitched a scoreless inning in his first appearance for LMU at UC Santa Barbara (1/31/02) to combine with Kevin Jenson for LMU’s only shutout of the season...appeared in seven games amassing 9.2 innings...finished the season with five strikeouts, seven walks and a 14.90 ERA.

Made 11 appearances as a sophomore for the Wildcats...pitched in 11.0 innings and finished with nine strikeouts...had a 13.09 ERA.
2000 Season Notes at Kansas State...
made 23 appearances and threw in 50.2 innings...his innings were the fourth most for the pitching staff...he was 1-5 on the season and had an era of 6.93...he made three starts and had two saves...he finished with 32 strikeouts...he threw a 10-inning complete game gem against Harvard (2/25/00), earning his first collegiate win...in the victory, he allowed just one earned run on seven hits, striking out seven and walking just two batters...he also earned a save against Nebraska (3/10/00), throwing a third of an inning in a 4-3 win...he picked up his second save in 2.2 innings in a win over Oklahoma State (4/9/00).
High School...
He is a 1999 graduate of Catalina Foothills High School in Tucson, AZ...he finished with a 4.0 grade point average...a two-sport athlete that earned four letters, one in golf and three in baseball for coach Jason Hisey...had a solid junior season, earning all-city, all-conference and all-league honors...had a career high 15 strikeouts in seven innings as a junior.
