Briefly... Brad Meyers completed his third season with LMU... posted one of the top-5 career ERAs in LMU history, registering a 3.65 ERA over his three seasons, the best mark since the early 1980s...

At LMU... 2007... an All-WCC selection after finishing league play 2-1 with a 3.35 ERA... overall, led the Lions in ERA (3.46), innings pitched (109.1), and strikeouts (85)... worked at least six innings in each of his 15 starts on the season... final start of season was a complete game victory over Portland with a career-high 11 strikeouts... named to the preseason Brooks Wallace and Roger Clemens Award Watch Lists... Baseball America placed him in the preseason top-50 prospects for the 2007 draft... also listed him as a preseason first-team All-WCC pick... worked very hard in the off-season to improve his velocity and slider... 2006... a All-WCC second-team pick after going 4-2 with a 3.25 ERA in WCC play... finished season 8-4 with a team-leading 3.23 ERA... also led the team in starts (15) and innings pitched (111.1)... finished with a strikeout to walk ratio of 62:30... opponents hit just .276 off him... named WCC Pitcher of the Week and a College Baseball Foundation Weekly Honor Roll player after carrying a shutout into the ninth inning against 19th-ranked Pepperdine... finished the outing allowing five hits in 8.2 innings... threw a complete game at San Jose State... threw the first seven scoreless innings of a combined shutout at Cal State Northridge on St. Patrick's Day... finished the month of March 4-0... 2005... started six games for the Lions, posting a 4-3 record with one save... his four wins tied for third on the team... finished with 43.1 innings pitched and 25 strikeouts... spent the summer after his freshman season in the Cape Cod League and was named a top-10 prospect and MVP of the playoffs...
