He is a 2001 graduate of South Hills High School in West Covina, CA...finished with a 3.20 grade point average...was a three-year letterwinner for coach Kevin Smith at South Hills...was an All-Valle Vista League selection as a senior and earned second-team All-CIF honors in Division IV...was selected as South Hills “Cy Young” award winner as a senior...led team to CIF playoffs.
Scott Michael Sarver was born on Nov. 4, 1982 in Glendora, CA...he is the son of Linda Sarver...he has three brothers, Frank, and twins Steve and Brad...his brother Frank played baseball at LMU in 1990 and finished at the University of South Carolina in 1994 and went on to play in the minor leagues in 1994...he was a peer teacher for fourth graders, teaching anti-drug awareness...recruited by USC, Arizona State and Long Beach State...his major is undeclared.
