2012... started 45 out of the 50 games in which an appearance was made... finished the year batting .251 with 42 total hits, four home runs, 23 RBI, and 24 runs scored... had 10 multi-hit games... 13 game stretch in which he did not strike out... had two games in which he hit 1.000%... at Nevada (Mar. 23) went 2-2 and against Cal State Fullerton (Apr. 24) went 4-4 ... compiled a six-game hitting streak (Apr. 3 - 14)... over those same six games averaged one run scored...

A 2008 graduate of Quartz Hill High School in Quartz Hill, Calif... a three-year varsity starter for coach Aaron Kavanagh... served as team captain in his junior and senior years... was named All-Conference in all three varsity seasons, and All-Area as a junior and senior... garnered All-State and All-CIF honors following his senior campaign... named Golden League Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year as a senior... recruited by UC Irvine, Arizona, Pepperdine, San Francisco and Cal, but chose LMU because of the location, academic excellence and coaching staff...
