AT LMU
2010... appeared in 22 games, starting 18, as a redshirt sophomore... hit .238 with 16 runs scored, four doubles, a triple and two home runs... drove in 11 runs and drew six walks... batted .263 with 11 runs scored, two doubles, a triple and a home run in conference play... recorded four RBI against conference foes while reaching at a .404 clip with four walks and five hit-by-pitches, tops on the team in that category in WCC play... overall, was hit by nine pitches, placing third on the squad... recorded two two-hit games and one two-RBI contest... two RBI came at Long Beach State on April 13, a game in which he also collected his first career home run... hit safely in four straight games from April 6 to April 17... batted .321 with runners on base... managed a .368 average when leading off an inning... was a perfect 2-for-2 as a pinch hitter... hit .333 with runners in scoring position... batted .333 with two out in an inning...

2009... played in 56 of LMU's 59 games as a freshman, starting 46... began the year as a reserve before earning his first start, and taking over the job in centerfield, on March 7 versus UC Santa Barbara... batted .248 with 21 runs scored, seven doubles and 12 RBI... drew 10 walks and was hit by eight pitches... finished the season with 10 sacrifice bunts, good for second on the team... that mark also placed 62nd in the nation... in WCC games alone, hit .226 with 11 runs scored and seven RBI... was 2-for-3 in stolen bases during WCC play... five of his 10 sacrifice bunts came against WCC foes... first career hit came on February 21 versus Utah when he finished 2-for-2 with a RBI and a double... scored a season-high three runs against San Francisco on April 11... collected seven multiple-hit games, including two three-hit performances... recorded multiple-RBI on three occasions... hit safely in six consecutive games from March 14 to 21... batted .389 against southpaws... notched five two-out RBI...

A 2007 graduate of St. Francis High School in La Cañada, Calif... earned three varsity letters for coaches Mike Solar and Brian Esquivel... was a two-time team captain and was selected All-League after his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... garnered All-Area recognition after his junior and senior campaigns, while earning an All-CIF bid as a junior... finished his senior year batting .426 with 22 runs scored, 27 RBI, six doubles, two triples, one home run and 11 stolen bases... high school teammate of current LMU teammate Ramiro Carreon...
