Donnels was born August 3, 1993 in Houston, Texas... son of Michele and Chris Donnels... father played baseball at LMU and was part of LMU's 1986 World Series team... mother and grandfather also attended LMU... has one sister, Taryn... chose LMU because of the great sports program and education offered, and because both his parents and grandfather attended and graduated from LMU... chose LMU over Long Beach State and USC... a sociology major.
