Ted Boeke is in his third season with LMU baseball... an honorable mention All-WCC selection and a member of the All-Freshman team in 2014...

2015… appeared in all 55 games for the Lions as a sophomore, including starting 53 at third base… hit .244 with 21 runs scored, five doubles, three homers and 20 RBI… also drew 23 walks and 12 hit-by-pitches, helping to guide him to a .373 on-base percentage… swiped seven bags in 14 attempts… impressed in WCC play, hitting .314 with 14 runs scored, three doubles, three homers and 11 RBI… slugged .453 and reached at a .438 clip against WCC foes… reached 43% of the time when leading off an inning… collected nine two-out RBI... reached base safely in 13 straight contests from 3/25-4/14… registered a pair of RBI against San Jose State on 2/13... 3-for-5 with a run scored, a double, a stolen base and two RBI vs. Hawaii on 3/25... hit safely in all three games against Gonzaga, including posting a pair of two-hit games... 2-for-4 with two runs scored and first career home run on 3/27 against Gonzaga... 2-for-2 with two runs scored, two RBI and a homer at Portland on 4/25... belted third homer of career against USD on 5/3 ... finished year with seven multi-hit games and six multi-RBI contests – good for a share of second on the team in that category…

2014... honorable mention All-WCC selection ... earned a spot on the WCC All-Freshman team... batted .289 with 14 runs scored, four doubles, two triples and 10 RBI over 45 games played and 35 starts as a freshman... also swiped a pair of bases... hit in five straight games from 4/6 - 4/17 (.562 | 5 R | 4 RBI | 2B | 3B)... first collegiate hit came against #11 Oregon on 2/22... went 3-for-3 with two runs scored, a triple and two RBI on 4/12 vs. Saint Mary's... went 4-for-4 with a stolen base and finished a homer short of cycle on 5/16 at Pacific... recorded 10 multi-hit games on the year... started 20 of LMU's 27 WCC contests, batting .364 with 10 runs scored, three doubles, two triples and seven RBI against conference foes... batted .361 (13-for-36) when leading off an inning... collected five two-out RBI...

A 2013 graduate of Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta, Calif... a three-year varsity letterwinner playing for head coach Phil Torres... served as team captain in his senior season... named All-CIF his senior year and All-State his junior and senior season... Pacific League Player of the Year in 2013...

Theodore William Boeke was born September 1, 1995 in Lewisburg, Penn... son of Amy Nance and Joseph Boeke... father played lacrosse at UC Irvine... has two sisters, Kailey and Faith... also considered USD, Cal Poly Pomona, and University of Kentucky, but chose LMU because of the strong athletic community, the amazing coaching staff, and the prestigious academic environment... a political science major.
