Current 2005 season... went 6-for-7 with three doubles in Opening Weekend against Cal... went 3-for-5 with one run scrored in win over UNLV on March 22... finished the day 2-for-4 with three RBI in the win over Pepperdine on April 29... went 2-for-3 with three RBI in the 12-6 win over Saint Mary's... 2004... put up the game-winning RBI double after entering the game as a defensive substitution in the Lions' 5-4 Opening Day win over Riverside on 2/10... redshirted remainder of season after seven appearances... 2003... earned first start at LMU after transferring as the DH against Cal Poly (2/23), going 1-for-2 with a run scored... had a game-winning RBI in 8-7 victory over San Jose State on March 2... picked up a pinch-hit base hit and later scored against UCSB (3/8)... was 2-for-2 in two games against Portland (3/15-16)... started in left field and posted a hit, a run, and a RBI in LMU's 11-6 victory over Long Beach State (4/1)... started and went 2-for-4, including his first Division-I double, against CS Fullerton, while playing all three outfield positions during the game... had two hits and scored a run in a 16-10 win over USF on May 9... went 1-for-3 with a run scored during a 14-5 victory over Portland on May 16... ended his first season at LMU with a .294 average with 15 hits and nine runs...

2001-02... hit .366 in his final season at Ohlone...added six home runs, 39 RBI and seven stolen bases to earn first-team All-Coast Conference honors...
A 2000 graduate of Dublin High School with a 3.3 GPA... was a three-year letterwinner in baseball... captained his team as a senior... named All-Tri County Athletic League three times... played in the Northern California-Southern California All-Star game as a senior, winning in three games... led team to three NCS championships.
Matthew Allen White was born on Feb. 14, 1982 in San Leandro, CA... he is the son of Bradley White and Danita and Dennis Romero... has two brothers, Alex and Nick, along with two sisters, Ashley and Hannah, who also attends LMU... was also recruited by Washington State and Nevada-Reno before coming to LMU... an economics major with hopes of working in real estate or sales.
