At LMU... 2006... played in 50 games for the Lions as a freshman, as a pitcher, designated hitter, and outfielder... was third on the team in batting average, hitting .315... was the toughest to strikeout, with only 15 strikeouts in 162 at bats... also made 24 appearances and four starts on the mound... totaled 46.1 innings... opponents hit just .264 off him... had a huge game against UC Santa Barbara on March 4th, throwing the final 2.1 innings to earn the win in a combined shutout effort while driving in the winning run with a double...
High School... a 2005 graduate of Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, CA... hit and pitched the Broncos to the CIF title under Coach Sam Blalock... named San Diego Player of the Year by the Union Tribune and North Country Times... was named CIF Player of the Year and was a first-team Cal-Hi Sports all-state first-team selection...
