Played three seasons for coach Marty Slimak, winning a pair of Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) championships...posted a 7.31 era in three season earning one victory during a 21-0 victory over Cal Tech...was the team captain as a junior.

He is a 1999 graduate of Charles M. Russell High School in Great Falls, MT...high school did not have baseball, but did play two varsity seasons of Legion Baseball..also played football and basketball.
