LOS ANGELES, Calif. -
The 2013 Loyola Marymount University baseball team will hold the first annual Alumni Baseball Weekend from February 1-2. The weekend kicks off with the inaugural Tex Mex Texas Hold'Em Night on Friday before the annual Alumni Game on Saturday. The doors will open at 7 p.m. on Friday for the Hold'em Tournament, while the Alumni Game begins with Alumni batting practice at 10 a.m., followed by first pitch slated for 12 p.m. on Saturday.
TEXAS HOLD'EM TOURNAMENT
The event will be held at the Double Tree Los Angeles - Westside Hotel in Culver City, Calif., with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the poker tournament beginning at 8:30 p.m. A silent auction will also be conducted throughout the night, with proceeds from the event going to benefit the LMU baseball program. In addition to a spot in the Texas Hold'em Tournament, which will feature a Grand Prize for the winner, the $100 buy-in will also provide participants drinks and hors d'oeuvres during the night.
