Baseball Season Tickets on Sale, Packages Start at $1 Per Game

The LMU baseball season begins on February 14 when the Lions host Utah Valley under the lights.

The LMU baseball season is just a few weeks away, and now is the time to purchase your season tickets to be a part of all the action. The 2014 season will be the first played under the lights at Page Stadium, and fans can purchase season ticket packages starting for as low as $1 per game. This year's baseball schedule features 30 home games for the Lions, including 19 games under the lights.

Using LMU's new online ticket system from TicketsWest (, fans can now purchase season and individual game tickets online at home before coming to the ballpark. The $30 General Admission season ticket scarf is part of LMU's larger Season Ticket Scarf campaign that featured access to men's and women's soccer, and women's basketball games. The scarf allows access to general admission seating on the third or first base line at Page Stadium.

Fans wishing to reserve their seat at Page Stadium also have the option of purchasing the Reserved Seating Season Ticket for just $60 - just $2 per game this season. Reserved Seating is located behind home plate in the seat-back chairs. In addition to coming with the limited edition LMU scarf, the Reserved Seating Season Ticket comes with a nameplate that can be affixed to any available seat for the entire year at Page Stadium.

Fans who have already purchased a $30 season ticket scarf can upgrade their existing season ticket to a Reserved Seating season ticket at baseball by paying the extra $30. Just call the LMU Ticket Office at 310-338-LION (5466).

For fans looking to attend single games throughout the season, the online ticket system can also be used to purchase individual game tickets. Individual game tickets start at $8 for an adult and $6 for children and seniors (55+). Children with an LMU camp t-shirt or youth sport uniform jersey receive a free general admission ticket.

As mentioned earlier, the 2014 LMU baseball schedule is home-heavy, with 30 of LMU's 52 games scheduled to be played at Page Stadium, including 19 under the lights that were installed in August. The Lions will not play a non-conference road weekend series during the regular season this year, instead hosting Utah Valley, Northern Kentucky, and Oregon and Utah from the Pac-12 Conference. LMU also has midweek match ups against defending National Champion UCLA, San Diego State, UC Irvine, Cal State Northridge, Long Beach State and USC at home.

For those of you who can't wait for February 14 to get a look at the LMU baseball team, the LMU baseball team is hosting its second annual Alumni Weekend, starting with the LMU Baseball Casino Night on Friday, January 31 and concluding with the annual Alumni Game on Saturday, February 1 at 1 p.m. The Casino Night is open to anyone interested in playing, and participants do not need to be LMU alumni.

For the second straight year, the event will be held at the Double Tree Los Angeles - Westside Hotel in Culver City, Calif., with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the poker tournament beginning at 8 p.m. A silent auction will also be conducted throughout the night, concluding at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 ($100 Young Alumni Discount for those alums graduating in the last five years) and include the initial buy-in for the Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament or $50 worth of chips for the casino. Additional chips can be purchased throughout the event, and $45 of each ticket serves as a tax-deductible donation to LMU Baseball.
