Cohen, Wilson Named WCC Championship All-Tournament

Seniors Tyler Cohen and Billy Wilson were named to the 2018 WCC Baseball Championship All-Tournament team at the conclusion of play on Saturday. The duo helped guide LMU to within a game of the Championship Round.

Cohen took the ball in a must-win elimination game on Friday morning against San Francisco. The right-hander tossed the first 6.0 innings of a 1-0 shutout, allowing just three hits and three walks while striking out four before turning the ball over to freshman Nick Frasso in a scoreless game.

Wilson batted .364 with a run scored, a double, a homer and four RBI while patrolling centerfield for the Lions. He recorded a .727 slugging percentage.

LMU finished the year 25-30 and 15-12 in the WCC to earn a share of third place in the conference standings.
