Decolati Highlights Lions Playing in Summer Leagues

Preparing to begin his junior year for the Lions in the fall, Niko Decolati is having a tremendous summer while playing for the Orleans Firebirds of the prestigious Cape Cod League. The native of Las Vegas, Nev. is batting .357 with 10 runs scored, three doubles, nine RBI and a stolen base over 14 games played. Over his last 10 games, Decolati has hit safely in all but one, and has posted four hits in a game twice.

Outfielder Billy Wilson is also turning heads this summer, batting .313 with 29 runs scored, six doubles, two triples, a team-best eight homers and 21 RBI while playing for the Edenton Steamers of the Coastal Plain League.
