LOS ANGELES, Calif. - As the 2013 season approaches, we here at LMULions.com would like to (re)introduce you to some of the baseball players who will be gracing Page Stadium's field this year. We have asked all the players a series of questions that range from why they chose LMU to what they would change their name to if they could. LMULions.com: What did you do this summer?
Colton Plaia: Played for Team USA and travelled to Cuba and the Netherlands

LMU: Why did you choose LMU/What do you like most about LMU?
CP: I chose LMU because it was a great opportunity to begin my college career and it was near home.

LMU: What is your greatest highlight on the field?
CP: Throwing a runner out.

LMU: After LMU, what do you want to do?
CP: Play professional baseball.

LMU: Do you have any superstitions?
CP: Put my batting gloves on the right way before I hit.

LMU: What is your favorite baseball team?
CP: Angels and Cubs.

LMU: What is the early favorite for your walk-up song?
CP: Bartholomew by Silent Comedy.

LMU: What is your favorite movie?
CP: The Godfather pt.2.

LMU: What is your favorite book?
CP: The Five People You Meet in Heaven.

LMU: What celebrity would play you in a movie about your life?
CP: Leonardo DiCaprio

 

 

LMU: You are given $1,000,000 - what do you spend it on?
CP: A house for my parents and a new truck.

LMU: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
CP: Mind control/mind reader. You can control other people and know what they are thinking.

LMU: If I take a look inside your refrigerator what would I find?
CP: Milk and juice. Maybe leftover pizza.

LMU: What is your motto or advice you live by?
CP: Living without speaking is better than speaking without living.

LMU: Name at least one television show that you watch every week.
CP: Big Bang Theory, Sportscenter, House.

LMU: What is your most prized possession?
CP: My Grandmother's gold wedding band.

LMU: Any fears or phobias?
CP: Claustrophobia, drowning.

LMU: Who is your biggest influence in life?
CP: Brother.

LMU: Name one thing not many people know about you.
CP: I was not recruited until after I graduated high school.

LMU: Do you have a celebrity look-alike?
CP: Christian Bale

LMU: If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
CP: Creation of the world.

LMU: Are you a morning or night person?
CP: Morning.

LMU: If you could be any animal, what would you be?
CP: Bald eagle.

LMU: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
CP: Southern California.

LMU: If someone was to give you one gift, what would you want to receive?
CP: A professional baseball contract.

LMU: What was your favorite childhood television program?
CP: Rocket Power.
