Baseball Casino Night Set for January 31, Alumni Game February 1 at 1 PM

The 2014 Loyola Marymount University baseball program will hold the second annual Alumni Baseball Weekend starting with the LMU Baseball Casino Night on Friday, January 31 and concluding with the annual Alumni Game on Saturday, February 1 at 1 p.m. The Casino Night is open to anyone interested in playing, and participants do not need to be LMU alumni.

For the second straight year, the event will be held at the Double Tree Los Angeles - Westside Hotel in Culver City, Calif., with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the poker tournament beginning at 8 p.m. A silent auction will also be conducted throughout the night, concluding at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 ($100 Young Alumni Discount for those alums graduating in the last five years) and include the initial buy-in for the Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament or $50 worth of chips for the casino. Additional chips can be purchased throughout the event, and $45 of each ticket serves as a tax-deductible donation to LMU Baseball. The LMU baseball program is currently searching for former players to participate in this year's contest, which will be played on Saturday, February 1 at 1 p.m. Batting practice will begin at 11 a.m. The event is free to all fans.
