LOS ANGELES, Calif. - As the 2013 season approaches, we here at LMULions.com would like to (re)introduce you to some of the baseball players who will be gracing Page Stadium's field this year. We have asked all the players a series of questions that range from why they chose LMU to what they would change their name to if they could. Today's question and answer session will feature sophomore Sean Buckle.

LMULions.com: What did you do this summer?
Sean Buckle: I played summer ball near home on the Outlaws and did more rehab for my neck.

LMU: Why did you choose LMU/What do you like most about LMU?
SB: I chose LMU because they have a great coaching staff, great baseball mentality, and it is super close to the beach. I also chose LMU because I knew I would be getting a great education.

LMU: Do you have a nickname? Explain the meaning behind it.
SB: Well everybody on the team calls me Buck but girls call me Seany B. There is no significance behind either one.

LMU: What is your greatest highlight on the field?
SB: Having 22 strikeouts in two starts in the same week during my senior year of high school.

LMU: After LMU, what do you want to do?
SB: Well playing professional baseball would be a dream, but I would like to work in a marketing firm after college.

LMU: Do you have any superstitions?
SB: I never eat seeds or drink Gatorade during games.

LMU: Do you have any hidden talents?
SB: I can make this gross popping noise with my right shoulder. Good thing I am a lefty.

 

 

LMU: What is your favorite baseball team?
SB: Los Angeles Dodgers.

LMU: What is the early favorite for your walk-up song?
SB: Sky is The Limit by Rebelution.

LMU: What is your favorite movie?
SB: Wedding Crashers.

LMU: What is your favorite book?
SB: The Outsiders.

LMU: You are given $1,000,000 - what do you spend it on?
SB: Go to a Barrett Jackson Car Auction and bid on a sick car.

LMU: Are you a collector of anything?
SB: I used to collect quarters.

LMU: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
SB: The ability to fly because I could get anywhere really fast.

LMU: If I take a look inside your refrigerator what would I find?
SB: Sandwich meat, bread, milk, juice, yogurt.

LMU: What is your motto or advice you live by?
SB: Live life to the fullest.

LMU: Name at least one television show that you watch every week.
SB: Workaholics.

LMU: What is your most prized possession?
SB: My car.

LMU: Any fears or phobias?
SB: Fear of drowning.

LMU: Who is your biggest influence in life?
SB: My father Larry Buckle.

LMU: Name one thing not many people know about you.
SB: I broke my neck a year and a half ago.

LMU: Do you have a celebrity look-alike?
SB: Maybe Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

LMU: If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
SB: Watch the Dream Team play.

LMU: Are you a morning or night person?
SB: Morning.

LMU: If you could be any animal, what would you be?
SB: A great white shark.

LMU: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
SB: Bora Bora.

LMU: If you could change your name, what would it be?
SB: Arnold or Bernard.

LMU: If someone was to give you one gift, what would you want to receive?
SB: New sunglasses.

LMU: What was your favorite childhood television program?
SB: Rocket Power.
