LMU men's basketball was on the road for a month and returned home this week for the first time since Nov. 17. In addition to home games, the Lions were able to get back to action in the community as well, with the community outreach program LMU Cares picking back up on Monday at Franklin D. Parent School in Inglewood.
BRIEFLY... Alozie Eroundu is a junior for the Lions, joining the program as a walk-on practice player in 2012-13 and then earning a spot on the roster in 2013-14.
PRIOR TO LMU... Graduated from Groton School in Groton, Mass., in June of 2011... he attended Villanova University in 2011-12 and then transferred back home to Southern California in 2012. Played basketball for coach Ron Mazzarero at Groton. Was an All-ISL honorable mention selection as a senior while averaging 10 points, five rebounds and three assists.
PERSONAL... Ngozi Alozie Eroundu was born on Aug. 14, 1993 in Iowa City, Iowa... he is the son of Ngozi Ogbonna-Eroundu and Ngozi Erondu... he has three sisters... a Biochemistry major.
