Just three weeks into the 2013-14 West Coast Conference season, LMU will wrap-up its second season series, this time with BYU when the Lions travel to Provo, Utah, on Saturday, Jan. 11 for a 6 pm tip-off.
LMU men's basketball was on the road for a month and returned home this week for the first time since Nov. 17. In addition to home games, the Lions were able to get back to action in the community as well, with the community outreach program LMU Cares picking back up on Monday at Franklin D. Parent School in Inglewood.

Fellow senior Ayodeji Egbeyemi showed his experience and athleticism, while the young roster showed promise and its youth as LMU earned a 96-64 win in its lone exhibition game to start the 2013-14 season.

BRIEFLY...Chase Flint is in his second season of collegiate basketball at LMU in 2013-14... transferred to LMU in 2012-13 after playing one season at the College of Eastern Utah... missed 11 games and was hindered last half of season due to injured shin suffered in the conference opener against BYU...

PRIOR TO LMU... played one season at the College of Eastern Utah and was one of the top-five players in the competitive junior college Scenic West Athletic Conference. Flint was ranked in the Conference's top-15 of every statistical category except blocked shots as a true freshman in the 2011-12 season and was named first-team All-Conference... He was ranked seventh in the league in scoring (13.6 ppg), second in rebounds (7.8 rpg), seventh in field goal percentage (48.7%), second in assists (5.4), fourth in free throw percentage (77.9%), first in steals (2.7 spg), fourth in three-point field goal percentage (41.2%), third in three-pointers made (1.9 pg), first in assist/turnover ratio (2.4), 11th in offensive rebounds (2.0), 2nd in defensive rebounds (5.7) and first in minutes played (30.9)... Prior to attending Eastern Utah, Flint spent two years on an LDS mission.
HIGH SCHOOL... Graduated from Davis High School in June of 2008... played both basketball and football at Davis... had a standout senior season at Davis, earning All-State and All-Davis Area honors... helped team to Regional Championship three straight years... was named State All-Tournament team... As a senior he averaged 13.0 points, 4.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game... was an all-conference selection in football at cornerback and receiver...
PERSONAL...Chase Larren Flint was born on May 11, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is the son of Vickie and Troy Flint... has a brother and sister... served his LDS Mission from 2009-2011... a Communication Studies major.
