Played in 25 games on the season, missing seven games due to a broken hand... finished with 227 points, good for 9.1 per game... added 5.7 rebounds and 16 steals and 14 blocks... ranked 13th in the WCC in rebounding and eighth in field goal percentage, shooting 49.4 percent on the season... was also 24th in scoring, 10th in offensive rebounds (1.8 pg) and 11th in defensive rebounds (3.9 pg)... Had 12 points and six rebounds against La Sierra (11/14/10)... was named Naismith Tip-off Player of the Game in win over Dowling (11/20/10), going for 16 points and seven rebounds, hitting 8-for-9 from charity stripe... one of three players with a double-double in win over Long Beach State (11/27/10), going for 13 points and 11 rebounds, which is a career high. It was his second career double-double as he went 6-for-8 from the field and added an assist and a block in 36 minutes... went for 12 points, eight rebounds and shot 50 percent from the field in win over Cal Poly (12/4/10)... did not play against South Dakota after suffering a broken hand against Sacramento State (12/7/10), he had surgery and has missed the next six games... returned to action with five points, eight rebounds, two assists, and career best four steals at Portland (1/13/11)... had best game since coming back from injury, scoring 19 points with six rebounds, hitting all seven of his field goal attempts at Pepperdine (1/22/11)... went for 12 points eight rebounds against SCU (1/29/11) and then 16 points and nine boards in win over USD (2/3/11)... led Lions with 16 points, three rebounds, an assists and two steals at Saint Mary's (2/5/11)... went for eight points and team-high six boards at home against Gonzaga (2/10/11)... did not play against Pepperdine due to the flu... had third double-double with 18 points and a career-best 13 rebounds at Portland State (2/19/11). Finished the season starting 17 of the 26 games he played... averaged 21.1 minutes per game, hitting 53.4 percent from the field to average 8.6 points per game... added 4.5 rebounds and 25 blocks... ranked 24th in scoring (8.6 ppg), 19th in rebounds (4.5 rpg), fourth in field goal percentage (53.4%), 14th in free throw percentage (73.9%), 6th in blocked shots (1.0 bpg)... came off bench to score 10 points, all in first half, added four rebounds in 16 minutes in win over Notre Dame (12/12/09)... earned first start of season and went for nine points, nine rebounds, two assists, no turnovers, three blocks and a steal against CS Bakersfield (12/19/09)... had eight points, five rebounds and three blocks in start against LBSU (12/21/09)... had best game as a Lion with 19 points, nine rebounds, two blocks in 33 minutes at CSUB (1/3/10)... scored 13 points with eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in conference opener against Pepperdine (1/9/10), his first WCC game of career... had first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in 26 minutes against SCU (1/16/10)... played just seven minutes against Portland, left first minute of second half with knee injury, missed next three games... returned in win over Pepperdine (2/6/10) with four points, four rebounds in 18 minutes... returned to the starting line-up for the Lions and came up big with game-high 17 points, six rebounds and three blocks in 35 minutes in win over No. 9 Gonzaga (2/18/10)... had 12 points, five rebounds, an assist and a steal in win over Portland (2/20/10)... had a break-out WCC tournament with 15.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, five blocks while shooting 58.3 percent from the field... scored a career-high 23 points with five rebounds and two blocks in 31 minutes in win over Pepperdine (3/5/10)... he went 13-for-15 from the free throw line, both personal bests and both ranked second for a Lion at the WCC tournament... continued solid play with 14 points, five rebounds, an assists and a block in 32 minutes in win over USF (3/6/10), shooting 6-for-7 from the field (85.7%), which ranked third all-time for a Lion in the WCC tournament.. finished with 10 points, four rebounds and two blocks against Gonzaga (3/7/10)... IN 2008-09 Freshman... Played in the first five games of the season before a back injury suffered against Notre Dame became worse. He then missed three games and tried to return against UC Santa Barbara. However, he was shut down for the season and ended up earning a medical hardship redshirt after playing just six of the Lions nine games to start the season... he averaged 7.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in his six games of action... opened his career with seven points and seven rebounds with three assists against Milwaukee... had back-to-back 10 point games against Notre Dame and Wagner... against UCSB, scored eight points. PRIOR TO LMU... Hamilton played and studied at Lawrence Academy (Boston, MA), American School of Las Palmas (Las Palmas, Spain) and Trinity School (London, England). He graduated from the American School of Las Palmas in 2007. He most recently was playing with the Gran Canaria Basketball Academy in Spain, which is tied in with Las Palmas. The 6-7, 210-pound Hamilton played for the Great Britain Under-20 National team, helping them to the quarterfinals of the European Championships. He had 19 points and eight rebounds against Finland in the quarters.His play with the Under-20 team and at with the London Towers Under-16 team allowed him to make the 33-man roster for the Great Britain National Team, who is currently training for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Hamilton also played high school basketball, rugby and football. PERSONAL... Ashley George Hamilton was born in Hamburg, Germany on Sept. 28, 1988. He is the son of Theodora and Franklyn Hamilton.
