BRIEFLY... Larry Davis transferred from Seton Hall University, where he played two seasons. He redshirt the 2008-09 season due to NCAA transfer rules and will be a redshirt senior this 2010-11 season.

HIGHLIGHTS AT LMU...
IN 2009-10... Was limited to just 20 games due to the Achilles Tendon surgery in the spring of 2009. But he made the most of his opportunities. The Lions were involved in 20 games decided by 10 points or less, and three of them came down to the final seconds in regulation. In all three Davis was a factor. Davis delivered a perfect pass to Jarred DuBois on his three-pointer with eight seconds left to beat Notre Dame. Against Long Beach State, down by three, Davis drilled a three pointer with 15 seconds to send it to overtime. Then against Portland, Davis drove the lane and hit a fall-away lay-up once again with six seconds to send the game to overtime. The Lions won both overtime games. He was named to the All-Tournament team of the Montana Tournament and finished the season with 8.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game... NON-CONFERENCE... Named 2009 Grizzly Classic All-Tournament team after going for 17.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and shooting 58 percent in three games. Went for 22 points in debut for the Lions against Boise State, It was the best debut by a Lion since Brandon Worthy scored 24 games in his first game as a true freshman on Nov. 22, 2002 against Loyola-Chicago.... had second career double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds against Montana... scored nine second half points in win over USC... did not play against four teams following USC due to swelling in repaired Achillies Tendon... made return against Notre Dame, scoring nine points with three rebounds and two assists, earning an assist to DuBois on game winner... had 11 points, six assists, three rebounds and three steals against CSUB... hit game tying three-pointer with 15 seconds in regulation against LBSU, finishing with 14 points, two steals, a block and an assist... did not play against CSUB or Pepperdine due to soarness in Achillies tendon... CIT... played 17 minutes with four points, two rebounds, an assists and a steal... WCC PLAY... He returned to line-up against USF for first WCC game and scored 16 points with four rebounds, an assist and a steal in 32 minutes, hit 4-for-8 from long range... earned the start against SCU and finished with 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and a block... did not play in Lions last four games (starting Jan. 23)... returned in a big way, scoring 12 points with four assists in 26 minutes in win over Gonzaga... made big impact again, hitting layin with six seconds left to send game against Portland to overtime, finishing with 10 points, three rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench... had seven points, three assists and a steal in 16 minutes in win over USD... had four points, four rebounds and four assists in 21 minutes against Saint Mary's... WCC TOURNEY... finished with nine points and nine rebounds in 51 minutes combined in the three games... played six minutes with three rebounds in win over Pepperdine... played 24 minutes with seven points and four rebounds in win over USF... added two assists and a steal... played 221 minutes with two points, two rebounds and a steal against Gonzaga...

PRIOR TO LMU... AT SETON HALL... Averaged 6.6 points and 3.4 rebounds while playing in 61 games at Seton Hall over two seasons. As a sophomore, Davis played in all 32 games, making 13 starts with averages of 5.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. His sophomore season included a 14-point, six-rebound performance in the opener against Monmouth, tying his career-high with 35 minutes played. In his first season of collegiate basketball, he played in all 29 games while starting nine. He averaged 7.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, hitting a team second-best 78.9 percent from the free throw line (45-for-57).

HIGH SCHOOL... Led Christ the King to a 24-5 record and the New York City Catholic High School title game... Averaged 13.2 points per game his senior year... Named to the Jordan Classic Regional Game... Averaged 13.9 points his junior year and helped Christ the King to a 24-3 record... Ranked as the No. 83 prospect in the 2006 class by USA Today and No. 92 by the Rivals Network... He earned the U.S. Marine's & School Sports Leadership award... was a two-time All-City, All-Conference and All-State award winner.

PERSONAL... Lawrence Benjamin Davis was born in Flushing, NY and is the son of Regina Kinard-Davis and Lawrence Davis. He has three brothers, Roland, James and Jaylen. Roland plays basketball for College of Charleston. His father played basketball South Hampton University and C.W. Post University from 1978-82. He has been active in volunteer work, including the organization of food drives for local homeless shelters. He is a Business major.
