Quick Turnaround in Virgin Islands

Men's basketball looks for quick turnaround in second round match-up against Marist at Paradise Jam.

He was one of the Lions most exciting Guards ever, he starred from the beginning of his career at Loyola Marymount a sa Freshman, when he averaged 14.6 Point A Game. During his Junior and Senior Seasons, he earned the respect of the opposition and was named to the All-West Coast Athletic Conference Team when he averaged 17.3 and 16.5 Point A Game, respectively. At the time of his graduation, Philyaw's 1,581 Career Points ranked him second on the Lions All-Time Scoring List behind only Jim Haderlein, and his Career Scoring in the league ranked him fourth All-Time in the WCAC at the time. He averaged 15.2 Points A Game for his career at LMU and led the Lions to five consecutive victories over arch-rival Pepperdine University.
