BRIEFLY... Nino Jackson is in his first season of college basketball for LMU in 2013-14... comes to LMU after a season at Kingdom Christian Academy in Columbus, Georgia... FROM COACH GOOD: "Jackson is very quick and is capable hurting an opponent offensively, with his passing, defensively, on the drive and so on... He is a multi-talented player that can hurt an opponent in so many ways... He has had to work hard to get where he is today, to graduate from Kingdom and to earn a Division I scholarship and that gives him a lot of maturity that really shows on the court.."

A native of Ardmore, Okla., who spent the 2012-13 school year at Kingdom Christian Academy in Columbus, Ga., leading the Mighty Lions to the 2013 NACA Division III National Basketball Championship... played at Northwest Classen outside of Oklahoma City as a freshman in 2009 and then attended Ardmore for two seasons... was the All-Ardmoreite Player of the Year in 2010 while averaging 17 points a game... helped lead the team to the Class 5A state playoffs in 2010 and 2011. Jackson's play during the 4-on-5 stretch lifted the Lions to the title. He was named NACA Division III All-American following the season... Jackson ended his career at Kingdom in electric fashion, going back-to-back games over 40 points. He scored 43 points in a 94-71 win over Gabriel Christian Academy and then 44 points in the 103-93 semifinal win that lifted the Mighty Lions to the championship game.
