BRIEFLY... Stefan Jovanovic wraps-up his collegiate career in his only season with LMU... transferred from Hawaii to begin the 2016-17 season… helped Hawaii to the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2015-16.

IN 2016-17... SENIOR... Played all 29 regular season games for the Lions, averaging a career-high 20.7 minutes per game... Having his best season with 8.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest... he has added 27 blocks is shooting 52.7 percent from the field... set career-highs with 21 points against Colorado State (12/19/16), 13 rebounds against USF (2/4/17), nine field goals against CSU and three assists in four different games... ranks ninth in the WCC in shooting and 10th in blocks.

BEFORE LMU... a product of Bishop Montgomery High School who spent the last three seasons playing for the University of Hawaii... played all 34 games for a Hawaii team that finished 28-6 overall and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament... immediately eligible to play his senior season in 2016-17 for the Lions... played in 75 games for Hawaii. He averaged 15.6 minutes off the bench this past season, averaging 4.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He shot 50.8 percent from the field (66-for-130), adding 35 blocks... as a sophomore, Jovanovic played in 31 games, earning 10 starts. He averaged 5.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, finishing with 28 blocks and a 48.3 shooting percentage. As a freshman he played briefly in 10 games, scoring in four of those games, hitting 7-for-13 form the field.

HIGH SCHOOL... A 2013 graduate of Bishop Montgomery High School, he was a two-year varsity letterwinner for the Knights, earning second-team all-Del Rey league honors as a junior after averaging 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks per game and helping lead his team to a 25-4 record and an appearance in the CIF quarterfinals... as a senior, was part of a squad that ranked as high as third nationally and first in the state... they won all three tournaments they competed in and defeated teams from five different states. They finished 32-2 on the year and a perfect 8-0 in the Del Rey League en route to the league title.

PERSONAL... He is the son of Zoran and Milanka Jovanovic of Kraljevo, Serbia. He is an Accounting major.
