Briefly:
Terron Sutton is with the men's basketball program for his third season after redshirting in 2006-07. Sutton is a talent big man who has the potential to be an impact player if dedicated to the new goals and system under Coach Bayno. He is one of six Southern California products on the Lions' roster this season.

2007-08 At LMU
Sutton played in 26 games for his first season of collegiate basketball, earning two starts at the beginning of the season. He averaged 11.4 minutes per contest and finished with 2.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest. He added 10 blocks and eight steals. He opened the season with eight points and five rebounds against UC Irvine (11-9-07). It was his season high in points. He set his career best in rebounds with six against BYU (1-3-08), Gonzaga (1-12-08), and Pepperdine (2-23-08). He had a career-high three blocks in the win over Portland (1-14-08), adding five points and five rebounds in 18 minutes.

High School:
He earned first-team All-CIF honors in his final season, taking home the highest honor in CIF as he was named the Player of the Year in the Southern Section of Division-VA in the state of California. He led his team to their eighth straight Southern Sectional Championship, defeating Renaissance 66-27 in his soon to be home Gersten Pavilion for the title. He continued to show his versatility with seven points, nine rebounds and five blocks in the blow out win. Price finished the season 25-8 overall and 8-0 to win their league. Sutton led his team in one blowout after another in the playoffs, defeating Pioneer Baptist 90-19 in the second round, a 62-30 win against Joel John Scholastic in the quarterfinals and a 60-52 win over Delphi Academy in the semifinals. In the State Championships, Price defeated San Pasquel 93-39 in round one but then lost to Sante Fe Christian 72-53 in the second round. In his junior season he exploded into a role of team leader, earning first-team All-CIF and first-team all-league. As a 6-5 freshman, Sutton started his career at Price without much basketball experience. He managed to make the varsity squad, gaining experience primarily as a back-up. Sutton saw his playing time and his size increase in his sophomore season. He averaged five rebounds a game in his second season and then in his junior season he had grown to 6-9 and became Price's main inside defender. Sutton became a full time starter and averaged eight points and nine rebounds per contest. In addition, he allowed Price to run an aggressive trapping defense to help Price to the state championship. His career-best just happened to be in the title game, as he earned a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Terron Donnell Sutton was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Dec. 3, 1987. He is the son of Natasha Sutton and David Sutton. He has two sisters and is studying English at LMU.
