Ireland Earns Second All-District Honors

Anthony Ireland earned All-District honors for the second time.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the NABC Division I All-District teams for 2013-14, recognizing the nation's best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes. And the second time in his career, LMU senior Anthony Ireland is among them.

Ireland was named Second-Team NABC All-District 9 on Monday. He earned the same honor his sophomore season in 2011-12.

Ireland finishes his career playing in every one of the 132 games LMU played in the last four years, while also starting 125, including the last 89 straight games. He finishes with 2,169 points, 557 assists, 517 rebounds and 200 steals, ranking third, third, 23rd and 2nd all-time at LMU. No other Lion has those combined numbers.
