WCC Broadcast Schedule and Game Times Announced for Men's Basketball

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has released the complete 2017-18 men's basketball broadcast schedule, the conference announced Thursday. For the fourth consecutive season, Every game during conference play will be televised on a national or regional level, and/or produced for broadcast on the conference's digital network, TheW.tv.


 

 

Loyola Marymount's conference slate includes 12 games broadcasted on Spectrum SportsNet, two games on ESPNU, and four on theW.tv. The LMU home game against Gonzaga will be the first ESPNU broadcast of the season, with a 7 p.m. start time set for the tip at Gersten. LMU's trip to BYU will be its second ESPNU showing of the conference season, with a 9 p.m. MTN/8 p.m. PST airtime set.

After opening conference play on the road, LMU's home WCC opener will be the first Thursday of 2018 as Santa Clara comes to campus for a 7 p.m. start broadcasted on Spectrum SportsNet. The three-game home stand includes SCU, Gonzaga, and concludes with a 7:30 p.m. game against San Francisco on Jan. 11.

Homecoming weekend on the Bluff will include a 7 p.m. game against Portland on Jan. 20 on Spectrum SportsNet, and Family Weekend will be an afternoon game as the Lions host PCH Cup rival Pepperdine at 3 p.m. on Feb. 10.

Senior Day is set for a 1 p.m. tipoff at Gersten Pavilion as the Lions close out the regular season against Pacific on Feb. 24.

In addition to the WCC times being announced, several of LMU's preseason dates are complete as well. The Lions will twice be shown on the Pac-12 Networks, as both trips to the northwest will be nationally broadcasted. LMU plays at Oregon State on Dec. 2 for a 2 p.m. game, and at Washington on Dec. 17 with tip scheduled for 3 p.m.

LMU's trip to Boise State will include a broadcast on the Mountain West Network, as the Broncos and Lions play on Nov. 25 at 7 p.m.
