Basketball Coaches to Preview Seasons at Special Events
LMU basketball coaches Rodney Tention and Julie Wilhoit will go on their annual tours of California to preview the upcoming 2007-08 basketball season.

Los Angeles, CA (Sept. 29) - The 2007-08 collegiate basketball season will officially begin in less than two weeks with Madness at Midnight on Friday, Oct. 12. However, Loyola Marymount basketball fans in California can get a special preview with the annual Coaches' California Tour. Head Men's Basketball Coach Rodney Tention and Head Women's Basketball Coach Julie Wilhoit will be featured guests at three functions throughout the state of California this month to preview the upcoming season.
The annual tour of the state will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 2 when Tention and Wilhoit will attend an event hosted by AG and Kay Kading at the Santa Ana Country Club. Both coaches will speak and speak one-on-one with fans from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
A day later the coaches will head north to attend an event hosted by Joe Bronson and William Del Biaggio III at the Silcon Valley Capital Club on Wednesday, Oct. 3. The event will run from 5 to 7 p.m.
Both coaches will return home and will speak during the annual Madness at Midnight event kicking off the 2007-08 season at Gersten Pavilion on Friday, Oct. 12. They wil also be speaking at the final event of the tour, a smaller gathering on Oct. 24 in the new Loft on the campus of LMU.

The season for both teams will begin with exhibition games in Gersten Pavilion on Nov. 3 with regular season beginning on the road on Nov. 9.
