LOS ANGELES -- Lions' All-Access continues to go Inside the Lions, with a look at the six-member incoming class for this season's LMU men's basketball team. Up next is sophomore transfer Ben Dickinson.
Dickinson was a freshman American East All-Rookie Team selection at Binghamton University in 2011-12 and decided to bring his services to the West Coast and LMU. He averaged 13.5 points and 6.1 rebounds for the season and broke the program's freshman scoring record with 405 points. He finished five rebounds away from claiming the rookie rebound record at Binghamton, sitting at 184 for the season.
He graduated from Gonzaga High School in Alexandria, Virg., and helped his team to a 25-7 overall record as a senior, averaging 4.8 points with five rebounds for a loaded Gonzaga team.
Dickinson will serve his redshirt season in 2012-13 due to NCAA rules and he talks about what he hopes to learn in this Inside the Lions feature.
Practice will officially begin for the 2012-13 season on Friday with LMU celebrating the start of the season with Madness at Midnight on Friday, Oct. 19, followed by the Crimson and Navy game on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. Season tickets are still available, including special Friends and Family pricing.
