LOS ANGELES -- Lions' All-Access continues to go Inside the Lions, with a look at the six-member incoming class for this season's LMU men's basketball team. The fifth Inside the Lions is Los Angeles native, freshman Taj Adams.
Playing and growing up in Los Angeles all his life, Adams led Fairfax High School as a senior and he realized he didn't want to leave home. Along came the Lions, and he realized he could stay close to home, and he couldn't be happier.
Adams graduated from Fairfax High School in July of 2012, helping them to a 20-10 overall record, reaching the CIF Los Angeles City Section Playoffs. As a junior, Adams was the leading scorer at West Adams High School in Los Angeles in 2011, averaging 17.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game for West Adams Prep. He averaged 8.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists as a sophomore.
Practice has officially begun for the 2012-13 season and LMU will celebrate with Madness at Midnight on Friday, Oct. 19, followed by the Crimson and Navy game on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. Season tickets are still available, including special Friends and Family pricing.
