“People saw them play against Duke, and they could have won that game,” said Head Coach Mike Dunlap. “Coach has done a great job assembling some talent and they press all game long. That should be fun for our fans to see that kind of team come in here. I like the fact that we have quick mobile perimeters that can hopefully handle that kind of pressure.”
Cleaning the glass is not PSU’s sole strength, the Vikings rank in the top seven nationally in turnovers forced (5th at 20.43), steals per game (5th at 11.0), and turnover margin (6th at 6.9).

Against Oregon State on Saturday, LMU made a season-best 10 three pointers, despite shooting 1-for-9 (11.1 percent) in the first half from long range. The Lions knocked down 9-for-17 (52.9 percent) after halftime to cut a 16-point deficit down to just two in the second half.
The comeback attempt occured despite the Beavers being the only team to shoot over 50 percent against the Lions this season. OSU made 28 field goals on 50 attempts to reach a 56 percent mark. LMU shot 17-for-31 (54.8 percent) in the second half, but the 31.3 percent mark in the first half created the 13-point halftime deficit.
