LMU Crew Teams Compete in Long Beach

On Sunday, December 3, the Loyola Marymount men's and women's rowing teams continued the 2000-01 season at the 2000 Long Beach Christmas Regatta held in Long Beach, CA.

The LMU Women's Novice Eight finished second with a time of 2:55.7 - only three seconds behind first-place finishers San Diego State University. The Women's Open Eight had a productive day also, placing third with a time of 2:42.2. In Women's Open Four action, LMU placed second with a time of 3:07.1, while LMU A finished third with a time of 3:04.6.

In Men's Open Four action, LMU placed fourth with a time of 2:47. In Men's Open Eight, LMU finished third in its heat with a time of 2:26.8. In Men's Novice Eight, LMU A finished second with a time of 2:33.5 while LMU B placed fourth with a time of 2:42.
