Nick Jan and Braden Baer shared a connection in deciding to come to LMU and to play for the LMU men's golf program at mid-year and that was to Head Coach Brad Lanning. That tie has helped the two make the transition to their new university and team that much easier.

BEFORE LMU...Jan is a native of Northbrook, Ill., graduating from Glenbrook North High School. He attended Ohio State before transferring to LMU following the fall semester... Jan was a two-time conference champion (2009, 2011) and was the 2012 runner-up, while being named all-conference four years in a row at Glenbrook. Ranked No. 44 on Golfweek's Class of 2013 list, Jan had an excellent summer season in 2012 as he reached match play at the 2012 USGA Junior Amateur after finishing 18th in stroke play. He totaled three Top-3 finishes in AJGA events, including a second-place finish at the Stonehenge AJGA Junior Open.
