INDUSTRY, Calif. -- Sophomore Tyler Torano became just the second LMU men's golfer to win a pair of individual tournament titles in the same season thanks to shooting a final round 71 to earn the individual championship at the Folino Men's Invitational at Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms on Tuesday.

Torano finished with a three-round, one-under par 218 to tie Parker Page of Pepperdine for a share of the tournament's individual title in the field of 58 golfers. Torano won the Bill Cullum Invitational on Oct. 18. He joins Brian Locke as the only golfer in LMU history to win two individual titles in the same season.

Adding to the Lions' record day was senior Jake Sarnoff, who became just the fifth Lion to hit a hole-in-one in competition. He hit it on the 211-yard 13th hole. Sarnoff finished the tournament tied for 27th with a three-round 230.

Coming in a tie for 20th was Bryan Bergna thanks to his three-round 226.

Eduardo Chavez finished in a tie for 35th while Kyle Berka had to withdraw in the final round.

The Lions finish the tournament in fifth place as a team, hitting a 906 as a team.
