Beaumont, CA -- For the second week in a row, senior Greg Moss led the LMU men's golf team, this time he helped lead the Lions to a tie fourth place tie at the Braveheart Classic at Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont, Calif., on Tuesday. Overall, three Lions finished in the top-20 in the 18-team field hosted by UC Riverside.

The Lions finished with a three-round score of 887, tied with Cal Poly and two strokes ahead of sixth place finisher Tennessee. Arizona shot a third round low 288 to move into third place with an 883. Southern Utah finished in second with an 882 and Oregon ran away with the title at 875.

Moss finished in a tie for eighth place thanks to his final round 72. The par followed his tournament-low 69 he shot in round two. He finished three-over par with a 219. Following him was fellow senior Brian Locke, who posted a final round 76. Locke finished in a tie for 11th with a 220, just one stroke off of Moss' pace.

Freshman Jake Sarnoff rounded out three players in the top-20 for the Lions with a hird round 73 and a three-round score of 221. He finished in a tie for 16th.

Rounding out the Lions' scores were John Lim with a 230 and Blake Nicolai witha 235. Lim finished in a tie for 52nd while Nicolai finished in a tie for 69th. Senior Louie Bergna played as an individual and finishe with a 250.

The Lions head to the USF Triumph on March 16-17 at Pauma Valley Golf Course.
