EUGENE, Ore. - Senior Tyler Torano earned his 14th career top-10 finish, posting a three-round 218 to finish in a tie for sixth at the 2014 The Duck Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Emerald Valley Golf Course in Eugene, Ore.

Torano shot rounds of 73, 72 and 73 to pace the Lions, who finished the loaded 16-team field with a three-round 893, good for fifth place. The Lions finished a stroke behind Colorado and two strokes ahead of Nevada and Boise State, who finished tied for 8th at 895.

Oregon State won the tournament with an 873, while fellow West Coast Conference members Santa Clara, Saint Mary's, Pacific and Gonzaga finished 8th, 9th, tied 11th and tied for 14th, respectively.

Freshman Lawrence Ree continues his impressive spring, earning his second top-20 finished with a 223. He finished tied for 20th overall. Sophomore Connor Campbell finished in a tie for 41st with a 227.

Rounding out the Lions' scoring was Braden Baer in a tie for 61st and Blake Meek in a tie for 72nd.

The busy week for the Lions continues at the Stanford-hosted U.S. Intercollegiate at Stanford Golf Club on Friday-Sunday, Mar. 28-30.
