PALO ALTO, Calif. -- LMU men's golf was once again impressive in the third and final round of a tournament, this time at Stanford's The Goodwin, posting a final round 283 to finish tied for 13th overall in the 18-team field.

All four of the Lions scoring players finished at par or better in the final round, as they finish with a three-round 886 to tie Colorado State in the final standings. Senior Tyler Torano once again led the way for the Lions, shooting a three-round 211 to finish in a tie for 20th overall.

Torano posted rounds of 68, 72 and 71 for his best three-round score of the season. Posting the best round of the day was sophomore Connor Campbell with a three-under 69. He finished in a tie for 41st with a three-round 216.

Freshman Blake Meek match Torano on the final day with a final round 71, finishing tied for 55th with a three-round 219.

Rounding out the Lions five golfers was Chase Nicolai with a 221 and Braden Baer with a 224. They shot final rounds of 72 and 75, respectively.

Up next for the Lions in the 2014 West Coast Conference Championships at Gold Mountain Golf Course in Bremerton, Wash., April 14-16.
