Torano Earns All-WCC Honors
Senior claims second straight First-Team All-WCC honor as he finishes 2014 WCC Championships in a tie for 11th.

BREMERTON, Wash. -- Senior Tyler Torano shot a final round 72 to move nine places in the final standings of the 2014 West Coast Conference Championships, finishing in a tie for 11th and claiming his second straight first-team All-WCC honor on Wednesday.
Torano finished with rounds of 73, 74 and 72 for a three-round total of 219. He entered the final round in a tie for 19th, but thanks to the third best round of the day, he moved the eight spaces. Byron Meth of Pacific ran away with the title, posting final round 208, winning by seven strokes.
As for the Lions, they were tied for the third best round of the final day, posting a final round 297, tied with San Francisco for third for the third round. It wasn't enough to help the Lions move up, as they finished with a three-round 898.
Sophomore Connor Campbell was second for the Lions and 24th overall with a three-round 225. Freshmen Blake Meek and Braden Baer finished with three-round scores of 227 and 229, respectively. Sophomore Chase Nicolai finished at 236.
