BREMERTON, Wash. -- Junior Tyler Torano posted a second round 71 to move four spots in the standings to sit in a tie for ninth after two rounds of the 2013 West Coast Conference Championships at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash., on Tuesday.

Torano's score of one-under on the day gives him a two-round score of 145 (+1) heading into Wednesday final round. The Lions sit in seventh place as a team with a two-day score of 597, posting a score of a 292 in the second round. Their Tuesday total was fourth on the leaderboard which has just eight players at par or better.

Senior Eduardo Chavez is in second for the Lions and in a tie for 24th overall after a second round 73. One stroke behind Chavez is senior Bryan Bergna and Chase Nicolai, who are tied for 28th with a 151. Connor Campbell is 37th with a 155.
