SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico -- Senior Jake Sarnoff
and Tyler Torano
post final rounds of 69 as they both finish in the top-10 for the LMU men's golf team at the Cabo Collegiate at Club Compestre Golf Course in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, Saturday. The duo finished tie for fifth and tied for eighth, respectively.
The Lions posted their best round of the tournament at 289 and finish seventh overall for the tournament with a three round 877. The Lions finished two strokes behind Lamar as Arkansas won with a total of 831.
Sarnoff finished the tournament shooting a two-under 211 after rounds of 69, 73 and 69. Torano posted a one-under 212 with rounds of 68, 75 and 69.
Rounding out the Lions' scores were Bryan Bergna at 222, Boris Stantchev at 233 and Eduardo Chavez at 240. Tyler Little played as an individual to finish with a 241.
This was the Lions final tournament of the fall season as they will play again on Feb. 20-21 at the Folino Invitational.
