LOS ANGELES - Head Coach Brad Lanning has been preaching to his new team the importance of consistency, and the LMU men's golf squad has taken hold of that as they have started to climb leader boards this spring.

The Lions take their momentum into the 2014 Sacramento State Invitational at Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, Calif., on Monday and Tuesday, Mar. 3-4.

LMU Sports Network sat down with sophomore Connor Campbell to talk about the Lions' improved play and how they continue to grow as a team.

The Lions will take the same five players for their scoring team that they did with their eighth place finish last week at the Desert Intercollegiate, which included Tyler Torano, Campbell, Blake Meek, Braden Baer and Chase Nicolai. Lawrence Ree will also travel, playing as an individual.
