Golf Heads Back North
The Lions will play in the 2014 Fresno State Classic on Mar. 10-11.

FRESNO, Calif. - The LMU men's golf team, fresh off their third place finish last week, will travel to the 13-team Fresno State Classic on March 10-11.
The two-day tournament will be held at the par-71, 6,776-yard San Joaquin Country Club. The teams competing in the Fresno State Classic include BYU, Cal Poly, CSU Bakersfield, CSU Northridge, Grand Canyon, LMU, Nevada, Sacramento State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and UTEP.
The LMU lineup will mirror the one from last week as Tyler Torano, Connor Campbell, Blake Meek, Braden Baer and Chase Nicolai will make up the scoring team of five. Playing as an individual is Lawrence Ree, who won the Sacramento State Invite last week in the same spot.
The tournament format is set for two, 18-hole rounds on day one and one, 18-hole round on day two. Competition will begin on day one with a shotgun start followed by tee times on day two, each beginning at 8 a.m.
