LOS ANGELES -- Tyler Torano joined the LMU men's golf program as a relatively unknown player out of high school, coming to the Lions in hope to grow into a better player. He had done more than that as his career at LMU comes to a close.
Torano and the Lions will play in the 2014 West Coast Conference Championship on April 14-16, and it will be the regular season finale for Torano. But for him, hopefully not the end.
LMU Sports Network sat down with Torano, to talk about his goals, his achievements the last four seasons and what might be next for the WCC All-Conference selection.
Torano has won four tournaments in his career and his 50 rounds under par in his four seasons is fourth all-time in LMU history. He has a stroke average of 73.0 this season, claiming a career-best eight top-20 finishes this season. He has a career 73.3 stroke average and his three-round 203 to win the 2013 Del Walker Intercollegiate is tied with two others for the program record.
